Kaua'i Marathon Race Expo & Storm Preparations

Team Punzal Vision attended the Annual Kaua'i Marathon race expo this weekend, in preparation for the scheduled race.

‍

We picked up our race packets as a team and some of us even opted for Magnesium & B12 injections!

‍

‍

However, as Hurricane Lowell makes its way towards the islands, the Kaua'i Marathon has announced the cancellation of the event this year.

The county shared concerns over the road closures for the race, and the disruption to the community that this may have caused.

The race may have put racers, volunteers, and the community as a whole at risk as we all prepare for the incoming hurricane.

We are grateful to all of our county officials and race organizers who have taken the proper precautionary measures to protect our community.

We have also shifted our focus to preparations for the incoming hurricane, in order to keep our families, community, and loved ones safe.
