How often should I get an eye exam?
"Do I really need an eye exam if my vision seems fine?" The answer is yes! For most adults, with healthy eyes, we recommend a comprehensive eye exam at least once per year. The purpose of an eye exam is not only to update any eyewear prescriptions that you may have, or address symptoms such as dry or red eye, blurred vision, or loss of vision. A comprehensive eye exam also serves the purpose of early detection of general health issues such as diabetes or high blood pressure and can lead to the early discovery of eye related diseases such as glaucoma or macular degeneration!
