Our keiki are back in school now for the fall, and our favorite sports seasons are back in full swing!

What about contact lenses?
Many keiki can also benefit from wearing contacts while playing sports.
Contacts can give them more freedom than everyday glasses, clearer peripheral vision, and a more comfortable fit under a helmet or hat.
Dr. Punzal can help you decide if contacts are a good fit for your child, and walk you through care and wearing schedules.
Always remember that contacts help with vision, but they don’t protect the eye from impact. So, pairing contacts (or everyday glasses) with proper sports eyewear or protective eyewear, when the activity calls for it.
