Team Punzal Vision participated in the 43rd Annual Ha'ena to Hanalei 8 Mile Run & 5K Walk by Hanalei Canoe Club!
We all arrived early in the morning, while it was still dark outside, just before the first sunlight.
Our whole team from Dr. Punzal, Brity, Lehua, Keahi, Jaymee, Lilly, Daisy, and Kennedy were able to participate in the race! Stephanie was our trusty cheerleader for this event, and managed to sneak her way across the finish line to support our team! Our newest team member Skylar, ran the 8 Mile race, as well!
Dr. Punzal came in first place in the office with Lehua just behind him, trailing by only 10 seconds! They have a friendly competitiveness when it comes to our team events and races, and this one was no different!
This race along the coastline from Ha'ena to Hanalei is one of our favorites of all time!
The views are absolutely incredible, and make the pain of running just a little bit better with each step of the way!
We are so grateful to all of the volunteers, event organizers, participants, and to the Hanalei Canoe Club for putting on this race again this year!
We all had a blast, and are so proud of our team for finishing together!
We hope to SEE you all again next year!
