Dry Eyes (Symptoms & Remedies)

Dry Eyes, symptoms and Remedies.

Do you have Dry Eyes?

Dry eyes are a common condition that affect many people, and can cause a range of symptoms including discomfort, redness, and even problems with your vision.

However, with proper care and the right preventative measures, you can keep your eyes healthy and comfortable throughout the day!

Symptoms & Causes of Dry Eyes

Symptoms of dry eyes include itching, burning, or a feeling of grittiness in the eyes.

These symptoms can be caused by a number of factors, including a lack of tears or moisture in the eye, exposure to wind, sun, or other environmental factors, as well as prolonged screen time or lack of proper care when wearing contact lenses.

Dry Eye Prevention

To prevent dry eyes, it's important that you schedule your regular Annual Eye Examination with your optometrist!

An optometrist can help you identify any underlying conditions or lifestyle factors that may be contributing to your dry eyes, as well as recommend the appropriate treatment options.

Additionally, using over-the-counter eye drops can help to lubricate the eyes and provide you with some relief!

Proper Contact Lens use to prevent dry eyes.

Contact Lenses & Dry Eyes

If you wear contact lenses, it's important to take proper care of them, and make sure that you are changing them out on a regular basis.

Contact lens care includes cleaning your lenses properly, replacing them as directed, and avoiding sleeping in them overnight.

Also, remember to keep your contact lens case clean and to replace it regularly!

At Punzal Vision we now have ACUVUE® OASYS MAX contact lenses in stock that will help you to keep your eyes properly lubricated, as well as provide protection and relief while using digital devices and screens for extended periods of time!
