Angelique, tell us a little bit about yourself growing up.
Angelique: I grew up in Wailua House lots with my mom, dad and years later my brother, right next door to my great grandma and grandpa. I spent most of my days vlogging for my youtube channel (thank you to all 9 viewers for watching my content), making music videos, writing songs, and exploring my neighborhood. We lived right around the corner from the Sleeping Giant entrance, so we spent a lot time time playing on the trail, as well as in the valley’s that were in the area. Me and my friends would walk down to the beach and spend all of our allowance money on snacks and drinks from the Shell gas station.
You’re the newest team member of Punzal Vision, yay 🙂 Whats your favorite thing about working here?
Angelique: My favorite thing about working here is how we can be professional yet still have so much fun both in and outside of work. All of the goodies from Dr. Punzal and Brity are a great bonus too! <3
We love how nice Harrison is! What’s your favorite thing to do together?
Angelique: Our favorite thing to do together is go up to Koke’e (with his car of course *eye roll*). He’s from California, so he loves the cold air.
You have previously said that you danced hula and tahitian, what other sports/hobbies did you do and what was your favorite?
Angelique: Before dancing Tahitian, I danced with Aloha Dance studio. I did jazz, hip hop and tap. I never really played sports on an actual team, but I did join volleyball in middle school. I never pulled through with doing a game, but it sure was fun lol. I also played soccer a lot with friends. My favorite thing to do however was dance Tahitian. It was VERY time consuming and took a lot of energy but it was definitely worth it.
You started working out at Aurai Fitness, how do you like it so far?
Angelique: I have never been to a gym in my life, so it’s out of my comfort zone, but I do have a lot of fun going with Tianne 😉
What are some of the things you hope to accomplish in 2019?
Angelique: In 2019, I hope to get all of the modifications on my car done, because I have been lagging on that. On a more serious note. I hope to live a healthier lifestyle. No more fast food every single night, drink more water, get out more and be more social.
Can you name a few things on your “bucket list”?
Angelique: See snow, learn how to swim, take a helicopter tour of the island, and zipline.
If you could travel any where in the world, where would it be?
Angelique: I would go to Tahiti. The tahitian group I danced for just recently went and from the pictures I seen, it was BEAUTIFUL. I can’t imagine what it looks like in real life.
What made you want a career in the medical field?
Angelique: I have always been so fascinated with shows like House, Grey’s anatomy, The Good Doctor, and many other shows like it. I’m not sure what exactly it is that keeps me so interested. My aunty is an occupational therapist and I thought what she does was always so cool, and I wanted to do it too. I started my first job in the medical field about 2 years ago and since then, I haven’t been able to pull myself away from it.
If there’s one thing you’d like people to know about you, what would that be?
Angelique: I want people to know that I started answering this at 8:30 this morning, and finished at 5:51pm. I have the attention span of a goldfish. Goodnight all.
