Punzal Vision’s second annual Black Friday Event was a blast! Dr. Punzal and his wife Brity hoped to bring that excitement of deals and discounts on designer eyewear and premium lenses to everyone around the island and we did just that.
We arrived at the office at 4am with the first sighting of our holiday decorations perfectly done by Son Flower’s Kala Oshiro and staff. From the colors, lights, and christmas tree smell that perfumed the entire office, we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. As we are getting the final details ready for the event, we had people waiting outside our door before 4:30am- talk about early bird gets the worm. It’s a good thing we had Aloha Roastery ready to serve delicious coffee and Byron Fernandez as entertainment as the perfect way to wake up before we opened the doors.
Prior to 6:00am, we had over 30 people waiting outside our doors. To see the line go from our entrance passed the entire building was such a humbling thing to witness! We couldn’t wait to show everyone what was in store this year.
With just about 30 seconds to go, we got ready to countdown for the lighting ceremony of the office as well as open the doors to officially get Black Friday going. We had great deals, great energy, and even better people come to join us from all around Kaua’i. 30% off the entire store, 50% off selected frames, lens specials/offers, and A TON of giveaways! It was astonishing to see people choose Punzal Vision to spend Black Friday with.
Just when we thought the morning was over with, we were wrong! Dr. Punzal and Brity SURPRISED us with a Punzal Vision Christmas Party that same day! We were picked up by a trolley with Santa Clause as the driver, mimosas to enjoy, and no idea of where we were headed to. We passed most of the places that were familiar to us, which threw everyone off even more. Our first destination was a scavenger hunt! Each team had to solve small riddles to find the hidden necessities of a snow man. Once that was completed, we were on our way to the party!
We arrived to Timbers Kaua’i Ocean Club & Residencies- a beautiful property that had our jaws dropped. Dr. Punzal and Brity walked us to a suite decorated throughout, personal chefs, our own bartender, and a dining table with a breathtaking view. Games, prizes, laughter, and an overall good time with good people- we couldn’t have been more fortunate and thankful to be able to experience these things with each other.
